On display at the Naval Museum are the unique collection of Ship Models and Figureheads from the 17th and 18th centuries.

The Coastal Kingdom.

The Old Mast Crane - belongs to the shipyard 
and was built between 1803 to 1806. 
It's still standing with all it's machinery still intact.

Kungsholmen Fort a part of the World Heritage. 
(The King's Islet). 
The first defense structure was started on the islet in 1680, it wasn't until a hundred years later that the fort was a fully functioning defense establishment.

Mjolnarholmen (The Miller's Islet). The Gunpowder house is a defense tower equipped with a so-called "peace roof", which can be lifted during an attack. 
Built in 1727.

The naval museum in Karlskrona originated 
at the naval dockyard in 1752.

The archipelago of Karlskrona consists of over 90 beautiful islands surrounding the center of town.

The Bell Tower was built in 1699 inside the bastion Wachtmeister which was torn down in 1769. 
The appearance that it has today is from a renovation from the middle of the 1800's. Today the Bell Tower is used by the Admiralty Congregation.

The slup and Launch Shed with its intricately designed roof. Situated on the Polhelm Dock, which was the first dry dock in the world, supported without water and opened in 1742.
