River at Annes Grove Garden. The river was created from an original 18th Century channel by a battalion of Soldiers from the nearby barracks of Fermoy in 1902. An island, bridges, Japanases-style stepping stones and a series of rocky weirs were created to give the sight and sound of white water along the river.
