Ansbach
Germany is a small town and is the seat of Government for Middle Franconia, located in the
southern part of Germany. Ansbach is the capital of Middle Franconia and is built along the Rezat river.
About 25 miles southwest of Nuernberg in the northern part of the Germany state of Bavaria,
Ansbach has a population of about 50,000, and 90,000 in the greater Ansbach area. There are some nice shopping
centres in the city and excellent
shopping possibilities within a 30 mile radius. Restaurants and recreation areas are outstanding. Ansbach is an old town close to very famous
historical places. Middle-Franconia is more a rural area but still very interesting. Ansbach is a
modern city with beautiful baroque architecture. On the grounds of former Hindenburg Kaserne, a university was established and a new shopping
mall – similar to those in the States – was built. Ansbach offers a great deal of culture and sight-seeing |
